York Region Public Health is pleased to invite you to participate in a free You’re the Chef Train-the-Trainer Cooking Workshop

York Region Public Health staff will be providing a food literacy train-the-trainer workshop for staff who lead cooking programs for children and adolescents.  Participants will learn how to lead an interactive food literacy program focused on cooking and safe food handling skills. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave feeling inspired to teach their clients how to prepare simple, seasonal, and affordable recipes with sustainable ingredients. Participants will receive new recipes, and resources to support their cooking program.

Participation will be limited to the first 20 registrants.
Participants must be currently running or planning to run a cooking program in York Region.
